I hope this letter finds you well. I extend my warm regards to you.

I am writing to express my gratitude for the invitation to the conference organized by the World Islamic League, which is scheduled to take place in Islamabad on April 14, 2024. The conference aims to focus on interfaith harmony and dialogue.

While I appreciate the significance of interfaith harmony, I find it necessary to address a pressing matter. As members of the Muslim Ummah, we have been eagerly anticipating a platform where we can effectively discuss the current situation in Palestine and the critical issue of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Unfortunately, the prevailing silence from Muslim regimes, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the World Islamic League has left our community disheartened and bewildered.

Given this context, I believe that the timing of interfaith harmony activities may not align with the urgent need to advocate for Al-Aqsa Mosque and the oppressed Palestinians. The global colonial powers continue to impose a siege on the Muslim Ummah, and it is crucial that we raise our voices effectively in their support.

With utmost respect, I regret to inform you that I will not be able to participate in the conference on April 14. I hope that our collective efforts will eventually lead to positive change and justice for the oppressed.
